Stoping your instance

You can temporally stop the instance anytime you are not using it to save money. You won't be charged any AMI fees while the instance is not running.

Terminating your subscription

You can terminate your subscription by simply terminating the EC2 instance. You will no longer be charged the AMI fee until you start it again.

You can also manage you AWS subscriptions from the subcriptions page if you wish to unsubscribe.
